Note, this round of the AIC is currently closed to applicants. Please check back regularly for information on the launch of the Fall 2013 Arizona Innovation Challenge.
The deadline to submit for the Spring 2013 Arizona Innovation Challenge was March 19, 2013.
Now that the First Round submission window has closed, applicants will be evaluated against the eligibility criteria of the competition. Those applications deemed eligible will then be judged on the merits of their team, market potential of their technology, strategies to commercialize their product or service, and the potential risk versus benefit to the state of Arizona. The areas of evaluation are described within the application form itself. All eligible applications may also be screened on the basic merits of their business plan, and if deemed to be able to compete successfully, will be scored in the various aspects of their business plans within the evaluation software, which is all online. To learn more about the information collected with the submission and the evaluation process itself, download a PDF information packet here.
Once the evaluation period concludes, applicants will be able to review their company’s scores online, using their previously created username and password, in order to serve as feedback on how the different aspects of their business plan were judged. Applications that did not meet eligibility criteria, or may not have been deemed to be competitive enough to successfully continue, will be so notified.
